PHYSICAL SCIENCE 076 0111 - General Course I - Physical Science
Introduction to the scientific method, astronomy, geology, meteorology. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Credit Hours: 4, 3 lecture hours and 2 lab hours per week based on sixteen weeks.

Chalcopyrite
A beautiful mineral consisting of copper, iron and sulfur and various trace elements. It is a brassy yellow. Some samples, such as this one, have an iridescent purplish tarnish. It gives a dark green streak when dragged across porcelein. It is massive, rarely crystalline with a greasy lustre.
